Being a Beatle
Alrighty, so rants have been sparse lately and I apologize for that. Things just never seem to calm down around here; it’s either one thing or another. Right now we’re hoping to move soon and looking for places has been exhausting. Other than that work has been moving along and I’ve been trying to squeeze in some game time here and there. Eve and I have been playing Tetris before bed, its helps me wined down. =)
This week we picked up Scribblenauts! DUN DUN DUUUUUN. So far, it’s a great game and doesn’t disappoint. The controls can get a bit sticky at times when there are a couple objects close to each other, but it’s a small price to pay for the ability to a fly spaceship into a barn, blowing it up. I’m also quite fond of ridding the Emu around and wearing a jetpack. I was also pleasantly surprised by some of the items that can be found in the game. I was a bit worried that they might be limited because of the 10+ rating, but this doesn’t seem to be the case (within reason of course). Now I just have to play more!
The Beatles Rock Band has also been in abundance at our household. I actually kind of enjoy singing for once (even though I’m not a Beatles nut like Eve). Though now that all our songs are 5-stared (all Eve mind you ¬_¬ heh), we are patiently waiting for the additional downloads to become available on PS3.
I got a bit of work done of the site today (fixed the permalink URL’s) and will be writing more of my PAX report to post for the previous blog entry. But because I might not have that done for another day or two, I’ll share the weird little sketch I did featuring Gabe and Tyco in honor of a successful PAX 09.
