*nod* I understand...everyone has different opinions on what an RPG is :).  Bioshock 2's MP is fun...but I'm mostly bored with it.  Again, level 3 vs level 22+ isn't too much fun.  Right now, my friend got me a code for Greed Corp on the 360...it looks kinda interesting as a Turn Based Strategy.

1. My husband already leveled it up because we only have XBL on my account lol I don't play much anyway

2. Eh, I just don't see it that way. There is more to RPGs that levelling. And some RPGs don't even have levelling. BUT that is just my opinion, actually.

1. Yeah I hate that. Modern Warfare is the same way.

2. BioShock isn't an FPS/RPG hybrid.
1.  You probably won't like the multiplayer of Bioshock 2, then...unless you get someone to powerlevel you through (although, if that's the case, you might get smack-talk'd if you don't watch them and are level 20+ and don't know the maps).

2.  Bioshock...Adam vs XP...Plasmids vs Skills...call it what you will, but levelling is still levelling.  Quake, Half Life, Doom, etc...your character gets newer weapons, and may even pick up a new skill, but he remains the same character.  Bioshock adds the diversity of the Plasmids (which you can increase in power/ability with Adam).  Adam is retrieved through fighing the Big Daddies and rescuing/killing the Little Sisters.

Has anyone else been playing the online multiplayer?

Yes, I have...it's...interesting...yeah...that's the way to put it.  Since Bioshock and Bioshock 2 are FPS/RPG Hybrids (as you you kinda level up while you shoot stuffz), the MP works the same way.  You vs stuffs gets you Adam which levels up your "Rank" in Pre-Fall Rapture.  As you level up you get access to better things.  You start with a pistol (something you don't get in Bioshock 2's single player) and a shotgun.  You have access to 3 different Plasmids (Fire, Ice and Electricity).  That's it.  When you move on to further ranks, you open up other weapons (Rank 2 gets you the SMG) and Tonics (Rank 3 unlocks [you're harder to hit from turrets] and [faster snapshots of dead peepz]).  So far, I'm Rank 3...but the ONLY problem with the multiplayer is there's no "scaling" for vs.  So you can be Rank 1 with your jankie pistol and your jankie shotgun against other people who are Rank 5+ and they're running around with various Tonics and OTHER weapons kicking your soon to be pasted rear.  It's far worse when Side A has a level 22+ and the Side B is full of Rank 1-5's...talk about imbalance :(.

Gah...it saddens me *emo tear* greatly that you all are talking about an FPS on a Console.  *SIGH* FPS are best on a Computer.  Mouse/Keyboard > Controller.  And, if I could cross-platform/pc this to you all, I'd wtfpwn you all :).  Sadly, I have the PC version.  I saved the $10 and I have the extra buttons and better graphics.  Oh...by the way...has anybody else "harvested" a little sister?  I only did it to "try it out".  And by that I mean I saved right before and then reloaded and saved her.  Wow...talk about mentally traumatizing.

I am watching my husband play as we speak. I agree with Jynx, its not as scary/creepy as the first one, but thats probably because we've seen the splicers and other crazy bastards, so its not creepy anymore.

Big Sisters are definitely a new scare, though, because they're constantly screaming! It gets in my head! zohmug!

On a funny note, my husband's friend can't play this game because he has crippling hydrophobia. That made me laugh. *bad person*

AGH! So far this game it great! No disappointment from me.
I've only played for about two hours so far, but the story and action started right away.  ;D

I'm not as frightened as I was during the first one... though Big Sister scares me T^T

How does it remind you of Fallout 3?

The first BioShock was pretty freaky. I didn't find it scary, but funnily enough (yay made up words!) the people who saw us playing it and did get scared were all men! My male friend could only play for a few minutes before getting too scared to continue! WTF!

If you want a scary game, I would play Dead Space. Although I don't think the sequel will be as scary. My husband played it and he said it messed with his psyche!  :O
