Actually, I'm being serious.  A lot of people in the "goth" scene are gamers.  Most of them were the beat up kids from school.  Played D&D and were outcasts.  Depending on the location that you live, they can actually be pretty friendly of a crowd.  Sadly, Gray, yer on the other side of the country.  I'd be a drinking bud, but I don't have a webcam and drinking via Skype/Teamspeak/Ventrillo just seems...weird.  Facebook or Myspace or some such...make a group and look for some friends that way ...it might work...

Yeah I can assure you that everyone with their popped collars and fist pump dances, effin love Halo, Call of Duty and Madden (unless Canadian, switch Madden with NHL)

Or you might try hosting a "Gaming" night. Invite people to bring their favorite games provide drinks and you might be surprised at the turnout. Everyone likes a good party but be prepared not all party-goers are benign. Invite people you know but aren't friends with and let them bring guests maybe make it byob. This would be a way of meeting new people on your terms. The worst you have a boring party but you will meet new people.

That sucks.  The first part sucks.  Friends are always needed.  Second part sucks even more.  Third part is even worse .  Facebook?  *shrug*  Look for gamers in the area, go to a local game store...you're in the "gamer" crowd...go out, have fun.  Go to a club...there's a TON of gamers in the club scene...well, certain club scenes...

I actually used to play board games with my drinking buddies (or d+d ect) like Risk or Monopoly. Had to be careful though you might come back from a bathroom visit to find straight rum(or vodka or tequila ect.) in you glass. Had to add rules like dice must stay on table for legit rolls.

Go out and have fun with friends.  I lived out in Oregon so long ago, I don't know what the club/bar scene is like.  But, go with some friends or have a party at your house.  Have a "drunken game" night.  Boot up some old Star Craft 1 and romple-stomp eachother while smashed on jäger or such.  We used to play Half Life 1, Star Craft 1 and Dark Forces 2 (Jedi Knight) while drunk.  Nothing like drunken lightsaber duels or drunken snark attacks.
