Intermission Mario Kart 64
Whoa, this is a colourful one.
There will be a couple weeks of intermission until the last half of ‘To become a Dance Master’ is finished. Captain Morgan and I have yet to set a date for the battle and I would like the end result to be reflected in the comic (ie. HER DEMISE!). Vancouver has also been hit with a heat wave that has reduced me to boiling pile of goo, so needless to say I haven’t been training much. >_<
So a month or two back I was riding in Chodey’s car (who really wanted to appear in a strip) when I found my Holy Grail of car accessories, his N64 in the front passenger seat complete with built-in screen. I could have cried; it was so beautiful, though quite illegal I’m sure. I got three races in before the car stopped and won all of them, I was on fire! One of the best things ever.
In other news GDPG will be featured as one of the webcomics in a new iPhone application called ‘Strips’. It’s getting pretty close to being released and looks really useful for iPhone users to organize the webcomics they read. Below is a quick little demo, check out the website for more info. ^_^
Along with character bio’s (that I’m re-working again!), I have some wallpaper requests from some of the DDR panels that I’ll try and get up before the second half of the story arc. I’m also looking into printing some shirts and other toys for the site, but I’m still shopping around to find out who/which site would be best to work with. If anyone has some suggestions or advice, please feel free to send it my way. Thanks.
